Season Complete
An unassisted double-play on defense by Vivian was the lone highlight in a 10-0 thumping against the Diamond Unicorns. The Twisters season is complete.
Tournament Plan
We will have a single-elimination tournament for the 6 8U teams next week. The first game will be on 11/11 at 6:20pm against the Diamond Unicorns.
Game 10 & 11 Updates - 10/26/2024
In the final regular season gameday of the year, the Twisters lost the 8am game to the Batitudes. However, they turned things around in the 2nd game and, after a guest appearance from a dust devil, pulled off the win.
Game 9 Update - 10/24/2024
Down 2 coaches and 2 players, the Twisters are going to have to wait until the weekend to get their first win of the season.
Game 8 Update - 10/21/2024
What's the deal with great 3rd innings?? They put up 2 runs in the 3rd before the umpire called the game one out early even though there were 6 minutes left so he could have a break. This league could really use some improvement.
Game 6 & 7 Updates - 10/19/2024
Once again, the Twisters had a great 3rd inning, but it was too steep a hill to climb and they lost, 8-3 to the Batitudes. 3 hours later, the Twisters got defeated again. In a post-game interview, one of the girls was asked how they felt about the repeated defeats to which they answered, "What are you talking about? The snacks are so good."
Game 5 Update - 10/15/2024
The Twister's bats showed up in the 3rd inning as they came from behind to score 5 runs in the 3rd and then played stellar defense to force a tie, 6-6, against the Golden Girls.
Game 4 Update - 10/14/2024
Gradual improvement but the Twisters lost again, 9-1.
Game 3 Update - 10/4/2024
Game was cancelled due to lighting issues and will be rescheduled for after the October break.
Game 2 Update - 10/2/2024
Scoring their first run of the season was the silver lining in an otherwise rough performance, losing 10-1 to the Diamond Unicorns
Game 1 Update - 9/30/2024
The Twisters got off to a rocky start in their first game, falling 13-0 to the Legends
